The GladiatorS Basketball Club has been affiliated with Ontario Basketball Association since 2007. GBC is committed to provide boys and girls in Durham region (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa & all the way to East end) & GTA region (Toronto, North York, Scarborough, & Mississauga) community a positive, enjoyable experience of learning and competing in the great sports of basketball. GBC always promotes training and development, respect of the game (coaches, officials,team mates and parents), along with a steady balance between school, family and basketball.
GBC provides Fall / Winter /Summer House League in Durham Region all year long. We also have a basketball clinic for all skill levels ranging from beginners to elite players all year. We also offer Free Clinics to our community.
On our second season in the OBA (2008-09), Gladiators Basketball captured the Gold Medal & Plague at U13 Bantam Boys Division 1 OBA Provincial Cup Championship led by Coach Douglas Martin and our U14 Major Bantam Boys captured the Silver medal at OBA D6 Provincials Championship Cup with Coach Jake Montero in the same year. Furthermore, our U17 Juvenile Boys also capture the Gold Medal in the 2010-11 OBA Championship Provincial Cup D6 with Coach Rowell Pacson.
We are proud to say that we have a very good reputation around the league of basketball. People see the family atmosphere bonding of the coaches, staff, players and parents/guardian that make them want to be part of the GBC team. We care about each of our players. We will do whatever we can on our side to achieve the goals of all of our players.
We are also working hard to promote the girls basketball in Durham region.
We have a very friendly, passionate, motivated and dedicated staff who’s goal is to train and develop those kids who want to commit, knows the balance of family-school-basketball and believes that “Hard Work, Pays Off!”
